1977 VW Bus

Pumpkin was my first delve into the VW world. We didn’t go to events and VOG hadn’t even been created yet, but there was plenty of reading on the samba. Almost everything on the bus was replaced or taken apart and serviced at some point. The goal was to keep everything original along with a paint job and reupholstered seats.

A great learning experience and it was fun to camp in it, but I hated driving it. Slow as hell, shifted like a stick in the mud and a my uncle would of killed me if I ever damaged it so I didn’t think much of VW campers after I left for college. It’s still around today, long overdue for a camping trip.
